If you have a pet(s) hire a professional to deodorize carpets

Mop, vacuum, steam clean all flooring, and clean window seals

Doors should be squeak-free

Tone down bright room colors by painting them white or a neutral color

Make sure all sinks are clean and stain-free, and make sure there are no leaky faucets

All drains should be clean and free flowing

All toilets should be in good working order
